Oh Constance my constant
source of friendship and love
I know you were sent from heaven above.
Since the time I first met you,
you were my friend who was true,
Whenever I am feeling lonely and blue,
I think of the happy times I had with you.
You pick me up when I am low,
and you help me get back up and go
on to the next tomorrow
and help restore my faith to flow.
Though I've not seen you for quite a time
you are still with me so that I'm
never alone in this world of highs
and lows that always tries
to bring my spirits down
and steal away the crown
you gave me when you called me your friend.
Thinking of you helps my heart to mend
I hope when you think of me it helps the same way
and takes all of your fears away.
