Kiss Your Scars

I want to kiss your scars, and trace your stars
I want to huggle, and I want to snuggle
I want to hold your hand in mine because only when I'm with you do I feel fine
This poem is yours and yours alone, and I loved talking with you on the phone

I can't believe how easy it is for you to make me smile, for you I would walk a thousand miles
You're a bright shining star in the sky, and to reach you I will find a way to fly
Please if you ever feel like you're gonna crash, just call me, and I'll be there in a flash
I won't let you fall, I'll catch you if you stall

Just fly to the stars, because you're beautiful, even with your scars
If you ever need someone to cuddle, or just hold you close and huddle
Don't worry, I'll find a way to be there, I won't let the dragon take you to his lair
I'll be your shining knight, your hero armoured with bright white light

I'll spear that lizard through his heart, with my craft, and my art
I'll never let the dark smother your light, for you I will always fight
Beat back the devil and his hordes, break their backs and conquer their lords
Swords of truth and swords of luminous light, I know fighting for you is right

My skills I will hone, you'll never be alone
Your light does truly shine, I'm glad your gratitude is mine
The features of your face are fine, and smoother than finely aged brandy-wine
